Our mentoring program pairs young people up with a mentor who has been in their position before so they can learn from someone who’s been there and done it—and who knows what it takes to get ahead. Mentors are volunteers from all walks of life, so you’ll always find someone who has a similar background as you or at least has had some experience in a similar field.

YEPP Ry Science Club is organized for underserved and interested youths, ages 9-18+ years. The Science Club is organized in partnership with The Science Basement Ry, made up of young researchers-in-training with long experience in science communication and education from the University of Helsinki, and the Finnish Institute for Molecular Medicine (FIMM), University of Helsinki, Finland. The science club is organized into 3 groups based on the Finnish educational system- Basic education ages 9-12yrs, Middle school age 13-15yrs and High schoolers 16+yrs.

It is organized in partnership with selected private and Not-for-Profit Art focused organizations that have contractual relationship with YEPP Ry, either as collaborators, partners, or consultants. The club is organized in groups based on age and exposure – ages 9-14yrs and 15+

The Club is focused on educating and raising awareness about the importance of civic engagement and Social Justice for young members. The aim is to motivate and teach our members to participate in the democratic process and civil society activities.
